Capturing and Removing the Pipe

The boys of Redstone Robotics Incorporated changed their robot design to include a clever front-mounted carabiner-type attachment to securely capture the pipe loop for removal. They also outfitted the robot with a rear impact plate so that the robot can back into a wall and jog the robot into position perpendicular with the wall.
